Marvelous Monochrome and Seductive Sixties Silhouettes
The Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 womenswear collection from Jasper Conran had a distinct feel of the Sixties, with black wool jersey, A-line mini-skirts, classic sleeveless shift dresses, hip-belted jumpsuits and white leather car coats all featuring. The predominantly monochrome colour palette was demonstrated best in the black and white checkerboard patchwork dresses; as well as in the contrasting embroidery in leather and sequins. The monochrome palette was broken up with subtle shades of copper, Bordeaux, charcoal and chocolate. The collection was finished off with Sixties-inspired hats designed by Stephen Jones and square-toed pumps or above-the-knee leather boots.
The stand out pieces of the collection included a copper sequin shift dress with with layers of sheer chiffon; a voluminous chocolate brown Toscana sheepskin coat; and a white and silver pebble print mini shift dress.
So without further ado we present the Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 womenswear collection from Jasper Conran…Enjoy!
