Entitled ‘Day One‘, the Autumn/Winter 2011-12 collection from Casely Hayford is a coherent summation of the previous five collections – whilst exploring the struggle of the current Coalition culture. The father/son design duo have taken elements from the previous five seasons to explore the brand’s DNA – from the luxury sportswear of Summer 2009, the Afropunk of Summer 2009 and the military detailing of Winter 2009.
The collection fuses influences from Hunting, Shooting & Fishing with the more casual urban sporting style of skateboarding, free running and motocross. In a sentence, the Day One collection embodies the signature Casely-Hayford house style that the label has become so renowned for. Here we present the Autumn/Winter 2011-12 lookbook, shot by Katinka Herbert in the stunning Wilton House, home of the Earl and Countess of Pembroke.
